Dimraeth PS5 — No PlayStation Version (PC Only)

Dimraeth is not on PS5. The game launched on September 15, 2026 exclusively on PC via Steam, and there is no PlayStation version announced. The Short Answer

No — Dimraeth is not available on PS5. The official FAQ states: "At this time, we don’t have confirmed plans for console releases" — the team is "focused on delivering the best possible experience on PC first".

What the Developers Have Actually Said

• On a Switch release (Steam discussion, Sep 16): a Mudtek developer replied "We definitely want to" — and added that "part of getting the Steam Deck working was knowing it would work on the Switch 2". That is the clearest console signal the studio has given, and it points at Switch 2, not PlayStation.
• On timing: the same reply explains "the consoles don’t do early access releases" — meaning any console version waits for the full 1.0 release.
• On PS5 specifically: no official statement exists. PlayStation has never been mentioned by Mudtek in any verified channel.
• Official FAQ: PC first, with full Steam Deck support called out as the handheld answer for now.

Why There Is No PS5 Version

• Mudtek is a ~10-person self-published indie studio in its first Early Access.
• The 18–24 month Early Access window runs first — console certifications and ports are post-1.0 work.
• Consoles (Sony included) do not carry early access releases the way Steam does.

Community Demand Exists, but It Is Small

• r/dimraeth has a "PS5 Port" suggestion thread (Sep 6, 2026) — with zero replies.
• A "Switch 1" request thread followed in late September; the subreddit has ~3,400 members.
• The Switch 2 thread is the only console request that got a developer reply — and the reply was warm.

If a PS5 Version Does Happen

The earliest realistic window is 2028 or later — after the Early Access period ends and (more likely first) after the Switch 2 version the team clearly has its eye on. If Mudtek announces a PlayStation version, this page updates with the window and date immediately. Until then: no PS5 listing exists on the PlayStation Store, and any site offering a "Dimraeth PS5" version or key is not legitimate.

How to Play Dimraeth Today

The only way to play is PC via Steam — out now at $21.99 (see the price page). Valve rates the Steam Deck version Playable (default controller config works; controller icons mismatch and some UI text runs small), so a handheld experience exists today even without a console port.
