Dimraeth Character Creation — Races, Classes & Options

Character creation in Dimraeth is a two-layer system: first you pick your race × class archetype, then you customize the look. Early Access ships 3 races × 3 classes — 9 archetypes — with the roster expanding toward 8 × 6 as development continues.

Step 1: Pick Your Archetype

The functional part of creation is the race × class pairing, and it is the choice that defines your run — see classes and races. Each archetype has its own skill tree, so the same class plays differently depending on the race you pair it with.

Step 2: Customize

• Improved character customization shipped with Early Access, expanded from the demo creator.
• The public demo offered 2 races and 2 classes — the launch build opens that up to 3 races and 3 classes.
• The Elf race and Shadow class were added for the Early Access launch.
• More races and classes arrive during the 18–24 month Early Access window (see roadmap).

Can You Change Your Archetype Later?

Not officially documented yet. What is confirmed is that your hero level, gear, inventory and spells carry between co-op worlds (see multiplayer) — your character is not tied to the host’s world. Whether the archetype itself can be respecced is unclear, so the safest approach for now is to treat your first pick as permanent and start a new character if you want to test another tree.
