Dimraeth Open World — Map & Regions
Yes — Dimraeth is an open-world game set in a handcrafted pixel-art world. Steam tags it Open World and Exploration. Here is the map as it exists in the current Early Access build.
The World of Mirkea
The campaign is set in Mirkea, a war-torn land corrupted by the villain Sylbos. The launch build covers Act 1 of 3 across The Lost Caverns, Earlwood Village, the Wildwood Forest and the Goblin Caves, with each major region holding its own boss.
What Is in the Current Build
- The Lost Caverns — the opening region.
- Earlwood Village — your base of operations and home base building.
- Wildwood Forest — with its own zone boss.
- Goblin Caves — with its own zone boss.
- More verified zones: the launch community has mapped Earlwood Forest (East/South/West), the Farmlands (with Haylor’s Mill and the Farmstead), Moonridge Vale, the Corrupted Thicket and Corrupted Wildwood Forest, plus landmarks like the Pool of Remembrance, Elven Ruins and the balloon-served islands — the full region and boss tables are on the Map & Locations page.
- New biomes and zones planned across the 18–24 month Early Access window.
Open World or Zones?
The Steam store lists Open World as a tag, and press coverage describes "open-world, pixel-based, top-down" exploration. In practice the current build plays as a set of large handcrafted regions rather than one seamless map — expect that structure to grow as later Acts arrive.
